Today is the Day

Today's Weight  - 259.8 lbs
Today's Body Fat Percentage - 27.8

Hello everyone!

So, today's the day where it all begins. I had full intentions to keep up with the blog and track over the weekend, but certain circumstances got in the way of me being able to do that. Not to mention the fact that I drank more than I should have (calorically speaking - it was still WAY less than I used to drink), and I really ate some not-so-good-for-me food. Perhaps I was just trying to have a bit of a fling before things really got started :D Today is when the real countdown begins, however, and according to my weight this morning, I've got 39.8 lbs to drop before I reach my goal... we'll see what happens!

I did track (but will not post the numbers) what I ate yesterday, because I ate particularly badly that day - it was the first time during tracking where I've put REALLY unhealthy food on there (Waffle House, Domino's Pizza). It was a real surprise to see the numbers on those things.

Saw a really good show this weekend - of the bands playing, Behemoth and Septic Flesh were both really great to see (it was actually my first experience with Septic Flesh) - high energy, great performances all around. Next month will be a great show month - Cynic, the Devin Townsend Band, and Nile are all on the slate.

Go Robin Go! I think blogging about this and being accountable to other people is a really awesome idea! I am trying to lose some weight myself. You know how people put on the freshman 15? Well, I never did. But then I quit smoking, and fell in love. And put on the "i quit smoking and fell in love" 15. So, trying to get rid of that, without picking up the pack or getting rid of the boyfriend : D SO! I will be accountable with you, and be a work out buddy with you, at least over the internet! I know you arent a girl, and being "thin" isnt your objective here, but I read a great quote that said "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels." It was Kate Moss and Im guessing that plus the cocaine is how she stays so tiny : D I think spaghetti might give her a run for her money, but, you know!!
Im not calorie counting bc honestly, I just dont know how! BUT I am trying to work out at least 5 days a week and cut back on portion sizes! I worked out 8/11 days so far this month, and am going to day to make it 9/12. I havent weighed in yet to see if Ive lost any bc I dont want to get discouraged if I havent : D Im a girl and dont want to say how much I weight, so we will put it in imaginary weights. SO! I started off at "100" lbs and I want to lose 15. Wish me luck and Ill be here cheering for you!! DTP is going to be in Charlotte soon, are you going?
